Suzanne Delaney

Suzanne Delaney has been the coach of the Antigonish Pee Wee Girls hockey team for the last year and a half. In her first year as coach, her team won the Nova Scotia Provincial Pee Wee Championships, thanks in a large part to Suzanne's presence behind the bench. She really knows how to motivate the girls to reach their potential. She is an excellent role model to her young female players as she is passionate about good health and fitness. Suzanne doesn't have any children on the team, yet she volunteers at least 10 hours per week as the head coach. This is really amazing considering she is a vice-principal, personal trainer, and training to cycle across Canada. Suzanne is the only person from Atlantic Canada who has been selected to bike in the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride next September.
